Internship - Accounting Clerk
(Accounts payable)

Job Type: Full-Time, Internship / Apprenticeship


Location: Montreal

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile accounts payable statements

  • Ensure invoices are accurate and match internal purchase orders

  • Oversee the correction of inaccurate invoices and diligently follow up with vendors

  • Participate in bi-weekly audit meetings

  • Provide support to the accounting department as needed

  • Respond professionally to vendor inquiries

  • Maintain a vendor contact list

  • Perform audit and reconciliation of credit card purchases and statements.

For a perfect match
 

  • Bilingual (English, French)

  • A DEP in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent professional experience ​

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Administration or Human Resources

  • Ability to promote and observe all safety, security and privacy procedures

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Valid Quebec driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Must be autonomous and able to take initiative

  • Ability to synthesize, formulate and present messages in Microsoft and Google tools
