STRATHMORE EXPANDS TO NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION,
RIDEAU CANAL AS FIRST PROJECT
MONTREAL, December 1, 2017 — Strathmore, Quebec’s largest landscaping services firm, is proud and excited to announce that it will expand its operations to the National Capital Region (Ottawa, Gatineau and surrounding areas) starting in the spring of 2018.
This expansion coincides with news that the company has also landed its first two major contracts in the area with Loto-Quebec and the National Capital Commission. The latter agreement, recently signed for five years, designates Strathmore as the exclusive firm conducting year-round maintenance of the iconic Rideau Canal Corridor.
With a team of over 200 dedicated experts, advisors and field crew members, Strathmore redefines the industry standard for urban landscaping, arboriculture, snow services and much more. The Montreal-based company continuously innovates, delivering comprehensive integrated solutions to its clients, backed by over 55 years of expertise, knowledge and credibility.
The Rideau Canal Corridor, a Canadian National Historic Site and UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to the country’s most prestigious gardens and plays a major role in the world-famous Canadian Tulip Festival, held every May around Victoria Day.
“We’re looking forward to maintaining some of Canada’s most important green space, and about the prospect of helping to make the National Capital Region a more beautiful and sustainable area,” says Strathmore Vice President Jessica Milligan.
As part of Strathmore’s expansion in 2018, the company will open its first branch office in the Ottawa region. Details on the upcoming process to recruit new team members in the area is slated to be announced after the New Year.
Family-owned for over 55 years spanning three generations, Strathmore provides dedicated and dependable service to our clients and our communities. Our growing team of experienced professionals draw their expertise from a diverse portfolio of projects in horticulture, arboriculture, agronomy, urban planning, landscape architecture, snow services and more. We believe in forming consistent partnerships from day one and collaborating every step of the way. Grow together.
