Crew Leader: Grass and Turf

Responsibilities
 

  • Manage your team members, materials, and equipment so that projects are completed on time and within budget

  • Read and follow plans, instructions, and specifications

  • Grass cutting using small mowers, tractors, and trimmers according to Strathmore standards

  • Drive your crew members to our clients’ sites and back to our office

  • Train and evaluate your team members, and make sure everyone understands their responsibilities

  • Clock in/out your crew members and report scheduling issues to the supervisor


For a perfect match

  • High school diploma

  • Three years of experience in landscaping, including one in a supervisory position

  • A driver's license with a good driving record

  • Be physically fit and have great endurance

  • Ability to use and maintain equipment safely and responsibly

  • Give and execute verbal instructions, read labels and signs, and complete daily reports

  • Ability to manage time, work under pressure and deliver projects on schedule and on budget

  • Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as a team

  • Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
